The Role
As the Dean of Nursing, you will lead our School of Nursing to new heights. Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Provost, you will collaborate with a team of educators in shaping the future of nursing education.
Responsibilities- Lead academic collaborations and set strategic priorities for the School of Nursing.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate program goals and policies in collaboration with faculty and staff.
- Create an inclusive environment that supports academic and professional success.
- Drive innovation through program development, quality improvement, and research initiatives.
- Collaborate on marketing and enrollment plans with various departments.
- Manage the School of Nursing's budget and oversee reporting.
- Engage in community outreach and establish partnerships.
- Oversee faculty recruitment, retention, and development.
- Mentor new faculty and support staff for success.
- Cultivate a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment within the School of Nursing.
- Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current, unencumbered RN license in New York state.
- 5 years of experience in academic nursing leadership.
- 3-5 years of teaching experience in a baccalaureate program.
- 3-5 years of experience in a clinical nursing setting.
- Board certification in Nursing Education preferred.
- Ethical and collaborative leadership approach.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to empower excellence in faculty, staff, and students.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
- Competitive salary range of $115,000 - $130,000.

Caroga Lake is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Caroga, Fulton County, New York, United States. The population was 518 at the 2010 census.
