We are seeking a Registered Client Service Associate to join our team. You will perform clerical, customer service and administrative functions in order to help drive company success.
Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Answer inbound telephone calls and handle basic client requests
- Make outbound calls to schedule client appointments
- Manage office calendar
- Plan and schedule appointments
- Greet and assist guests
- Help manage the CRM system
- Be able to recognize sales or service opportunities and create a follow-up for those items
- Imaging/Scanning/Filing so that physical and electronic client files are compliance ready
- Follow a compliance regulated filing system
- Data input client information to open new accounts with various sponsors and generate forms for service-related requests such as beneficiary changes, withdrawals etc
- Handle trade requests at the direction of the financial professional
- Perform all other office tasks
- Additional responsibilities can be added in the future
- Assist financial professional and other staff as needed
Things the applicant will bring to the position:
- Securities registered or willing to become registered within twelve months by passing the SIE exam, Series 66 exam and Series 7 exam
- Previous experience in the securities and investment industry or the insurance industry is preferred
- Familiarity with brokerage or registered investment advisory firm operations
- Must be able to work independently but know when to ask questions to clarify tasks
- Completing tasks correctly is more important than doing them fast
- Be able to understand and follow detailed, complex regulatory requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Be extremely confident with technology and capable of learning new software and systems
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple time sensitive demands
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extremely detailed and able to spot inconsistencies
- Strong organizational skills
- Clean background check and fingerprinting results required
