    Equinox Consulting Partners LLC is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our team. We are looking for a highly skilled developer with extensive experience in .NET web application development. If you have a strong background in .NET Core framework, along with fluency in JavaScript and related frameworks like JQuery, React, Angular, or Blazor, we encourage you to apply and become part of our dynamic team. This is a HYBRID role that will require the candidate to be on-site 3 days a week. Only candidates residing in the Richmond, VA area will be considered.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage, encode, and analyze complex software requirements to design and develop high-quality components using the .NET Core framework.
    • Ensure that programming best practices are being followed and prioritize work effectively.
    • Write system documentation when required to maintain clarity and understanding of developed components.
    • Develop applications and backend services using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS, Node.js, CSS, and Blazor.
    • Design and develop using appropriate software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability.
    • Write effective unit tests and integration tests to ensure high-quality software delivery.
    • Apply in-depth knowledge of system design patterns, tiered architecture, and testing practices.
    • Understand key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.
    • Collaborate with project business and system analysts to clarify requirements and implement them effectively.
    • Participate in Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.

    Requirements

    • 10 years of experience in .NET web application development.
    • Proficiency in JavaScript including frameworks such as JQuery, React, Angular, or Blazor.
    • Experience with CSS3 and HTML5.
    • Strong communication skills to effectively engage in both technical and business requirement discussions.
    • Solid understanding of C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and other related technologies.
    • Familiarity with software design patterns, tiered architecture, and testing practices.
    • Experience working in Agile development environments.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
