Responsibilities:
- Develop and write CNC programs for machining operations based on engineering drawings and specifications
- Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to programmed instructions
- Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimize machining processes
- Perform tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments as necessary
- Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols on engineering drawings
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues as they arise
- Maintain accurate documentation of programs, tooling, and machine settings

- Proficiency in GibbsCAM programming software for CNC machines

- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar software for creating or modifying drawings
- Ability to fabricate parts using CNC machines
- Working knowledge of Haas, Doosan & Matsuura are a plus
- Performs operations per specifications on drawing/print and documented procedures
- Perform and record first piece inspection and fill out in-process inspection sheets
- Deburr parts using machines such as milling, drilling, grinding and other machines as needed
- Experience in reading, interpreting blueprints, routers, work instructions and specifications
- Advanced measurement skills for inspection, including use of CMM, and optical comparator
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
