POSITION SUMMARY

The Home Health Care Services Director is a Registered Nurse who is approved by the Board of Directors at the recommendation of the Administrator to organize and direct the home health care services program. Successfully collaborates with Managers and employees to implement the mission and vision of the program by managing day-to-day operations within budget guidelines for program and services. Oversees and implements all treatment-oriented programs and services. Responsible for conceptualizing, developing and facilitating the implementation of daily operations in support of policies, goals, and by performing the following duties personally or through staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

• Licensed with the Arizona Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse according to A.R.S. Title 32, Chapter 15. 
• Must have a BSN or MSN degree.
• Must have at least three years of nursing experience, including at least 24 months of experience as a Registered Nurse providing home health care services.
• Must have two years’ experience in a management capacity.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bilingual language skills in English/Spanish preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to be insured under automobile insurance policy.
• Able to work a flexible schedule as needed per program requirements.
• Must successfully complete the agency’s orientation and demonstrate competence regarding skills and knowledge.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Have good organization and time management skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification (or equivalent training).
