Client Technologies Manager improves desktop hardware and software processes and supports critical business strategies by managing the development, installation, vendor selection, maintenance and repair of desktop equipment. Leads multiple projects and oversees technical staff to ensure that client specifications are met. Being a Client Technologies Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Client Technologies Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Client Technologies Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Required Skills and Experience

    • Provide set up and configuration of applications
    • Provide 2nd tier support for business applications within the enterprise
    • Develop recommendations for enhancing approaches for software support service
    • Develop and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups and personnel with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced
    • Analyze performance of programs and takes action to correct deficiencies
    • Provide a minimum of weekly status report updates for current projects
    • Provide consultation for the evaluation of packaged applications
    • Provide the implementation, configuration and deployment of new packaged software application
    • Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others
    • All work responsibilities are subject to having performance goals and/or targets established

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
    • One year of IT work experience as a Client Technologies Technician
    • Any Microsoft, Apple or ITIL Certification, preferred
    • Experience with set up, configuration, and support of specific business application packages including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
    • Experience with programming and .NET technologies, preferred.
