Clinical Administrative Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an assigned unit or clinic section within a hospital. Schedules employee shifts and ensures admitting and discharge functions are providing for optimal patient flow. Being a Clinical Administrative Coordinator ensures that hospital resources are being used in the most efficient manner. Assigns patients to appropriate health practitioners. Additionally, Clinical Administrative Coordinator may perform other administrative functions as necessary. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Clinical Administrative Coordinator typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.     Provides analytical and complex administrative support activities for the Offices of Academics and Student Affairs.

    Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
    Knowledge of office management, skill in using Microsoft Office, Banner and Self Service Carolina; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with faculty, staff, students, and the general public. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to exercise discretion in interpreting and applying established policies and procedures. Ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions. Ability to set priorities and manage details.

    Coordinates all aspects of Offices of Academics and Student Affairs travel for university business, including transportation, accommodations, and travel reimbursements. Responsible for maintaining budget. Responsible for ordering, processing, and reconciliation of academic and student affairs expenses to include vendor contracts. Prepares monthly visa charge forms for purchasing card allocations and submits them to the College of Nursing Business Director. Process payment requests and purchase requisitions for procurement of goods and services. Networks with businesses/manufacturers to establish supplier onboarding for accounts payable.

    Responsible for scheduling and management of all college of nursing courses in Banner in collaboration with the Associate Dean and departments to include verification and submitting corrections as needed. Retrieves student projections monthly. Retrieves, inputs, and updates information in CON-approved CRM. Manages the file archival system to include maintaining and archival of confidential student records. Prepares student and alum practice readiness validations. Manages mass mailouts for students. Assist with data for surveys, questionnaires, grants, and other reports upon request.
