*Job Summary* We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a hospital pharmacy. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service. *Responsibilities* - Prepare and package medications under the supervision of a pharmacist - Maintain accurate patient records and profiles - Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies - Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers - Utilize medical terminology accurately - Adhere to aseptic techniques in medication preparation - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care *Skills* - Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations - Strong patient care skills with a focus on safety and accuracy - Knowledge of aseptic technique in sterile compounding - Excellent patient service and communication abilities - Familiarity with medical terminology and abbreviations - Experience in acute care or hospital pharmacy settings is preferred - Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required
