We are currently seeking a Lab Manager for a small-town critical access facility with 20 beds and a Level IV trauma center. The hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare while maintaining competitive costs, with a strong commitment to community care.

The Lab Manager will report directly to the Lab Director and will receive thorough training under their mentorship. Key responsibilities include overseeing team performance evaluations, assessing staffing needs, delegating tasks, evaluating equipment, and optimizing departmental operations for maximum efficiency. Additionally, the Lab Manager will be responsible for analyzing procedures and protocols, adjusting workflows as necessary, and supervising equipment maintenance and calibration.

In this role, you will also manage daily operations within the core lab department, ensuring smooth and efficient service. The laboratory serves a diverse patient population, offering comprehensive care across a wide range of specialties, including Hematology, Coagulation, Limited Virology, Oncology, Mycology, Limited Bacteriology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Urine Pregnancy Testing, Toxicology, Immunology/Serology, Endocrinology, Cytopathology, Histopathology, and Blood Bank.
