We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to structure and optimize product specifications and technical info into our growing product database. You will work closely with vendor partners as well as content and merchandising teams to prepare key attributes for product launches and help to refine existing product data. We're seeking self-starters who work as well independently as they do in cross-functional teams. This role requires someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a knack for digging deep to find the smallest of details.

Job Responsibilities:

• Entering technical specs and product data into our inventory and content management systems with accuracy, following strict formats and guidelines.
• Learning style formats and translating technical info from manufacturer copy into structured data for site navigation and product detail pages.
• Understanding correlations and best practices for product presentation, category taxonomy, and product attribution for increasing customer engagement.
• Editing and updating large volumes of product specifications according to the latest manufacturing changes in a products life cycle.
• Communicating across departments and with vendors to confirm technical info and specifications are up-to-date at all times.
• Auditing product content across hundreds of diverse categories to ensure that category and navigation data are consistent, enhancing the information gathering stage of customer journey.
• Maintain and optimize facets, filters and navigation elements according to customer needs and experience
• Perform ad hoc competitor research
• Testing and documenting issues with various website features relying on product data]

Qualifications:

• 3 years experience in a retail environment working with product assets and/or content management systems
• BA/BS in related retail, communications, data, library, or computer science field
• Extensive knowledge in music technology products, but especially recording, live sound reinforcement, and commercial audio
• Ability to locate product content errors and make necessary corrections based on familiarity with products such as mixing consoles, recording interfaces, wireless systems, and 70-volt audio systems.
• Understand basic elements of eCommerce, product catalogs and website navigation
• Experience with office spreadsheet applications, reporting tools and perform ad hoc competitor research
• Team player who is collaborative and consistently demonstrates curiosity by asking questions, listening, and engaging with leadership
• Pursuing or continuing a career in eCommerce with a passion for continually learning and growing knowledge in our systems
