An acute care hospital in Maryland is actively recruiting for an RN Educator Neonatal ICU to join their nursing team.

The RN Educator Neonatal ICU will work at a 370 bed acute care hospital located in Maryland that is known for being one of the busiest acute care hospitals in the state. This Magnet designated hospital is continually recognized for their women services, fast-paced emergency department and extensive surgical services department. The NICU Nurse Educator will work alongside world-class providers and specialists all focused on delivering exceptional, quality care to patients throughout Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC and parts of Delaware. 

Reporting to the Clinical Director, the Nurse Educator Neonatal Services will be responsible for educational programs offered to the new-hires and current department staff. The NICU Nursing Educator will assist with onboarding, new-hire orientation, the preceptor program, and all staff education for utilizing the most advanced technology, techniques, and evidence-based best practices. The RN Educator Neonatal ICU will be a hands-on leader and act as a mentor, leader, and resource to the department while maintaining their clinical knowledge and skillset. 

Because the Educator NICU will be working alongside a dedicated team of innovative specialists, the Nurse Educator should have level 3 or level 4 NICU experience, previous nurse educator or preceptor experience, ideally being masters prepared. The RN Educator Neonatal ICU will also hold or be willing to obtain their Maryland or multistate compact RN license.
