Provides guidance to the institutional ethics committee pertaining to policy formulation and educational and case review activities. Being a Clinical Ethicist develops institutional policies concerning ethical issues such as "do-not-resuscitate" and "withdrawal of life-support". Requires a master's degree or doctorate related to health ethics. Additionally, Clinical Ethicist typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Clinical Ethicist typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Job Description
· Work with a diverse population providing group, individual, and couples/family therapy
· Oversee a small team of dedicated professionals
· Participate in a larger agency treatment team that is dynamic and supportive
· Engage in community relations events and opportunities to build referrals and positive relationships
· Utilize an EHR to document services
· Master’s level licensure required (CSW, LCSW, ACMHC, CMHC, AMFT, LMFT)
· DV training preferred, but not required
· Bilingual preferred, but not required
Compensation
Market competitive and negotiable. Pay will vary based on: licensure level, experience and relevant certifications held.
