  • A rewarding opportunity is immediately available in Southeast Texas for the experienced Hospital Laboratory Manager! This not-for-profit hospital and health system is seeking a qualified hospital lab leader who is ready to join an outstanding, tight-knit laboratory services team.

    As a key partner to the Regional Director of Laboratory Services, the Laboratory Services Manager will take charge of a dynamic team consisting of 8 laboratory supervisors and 1 outpatient laboratory coordinator. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and optimize both day-to-day and long-term operations within the department. The Laboratory Services Manager will drive key initiatives in budgeting, business strategy, Lean process improvement, quality management, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts. Additionally, this position will oversee all aspects of the acute care inpatient laboratory, ensuring excellence in service and operations across the board.

    The Hospital Lab Manager will be met with excellent work/life balance with a consistent Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm day-shift schedule. The team is seeking a qualified laboratory candidate with Certification for MLS, MLT, MT from ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HEW/HHS, along with 3-5 years of clinical laboratory experience.
