This highly recognized and respected hospital in the Mideast region of Michigan is actively searching for an Emergency Department Nurse Manager to provide leadership and oversight of the daily operations of the Emergency Department. This leader will have the opportunity to join a 300 bed teaching hospital within an awarded and reputable healthcare system.

Reporting to the Nursing Director Emergency Services, in this role the Emergency RN Manager will oversee the nursing plan of care for patients within the unit, maintain operational responsibility for nursing and health care services of the ED, as well as direct patient care through performance and leadership of patient care team members and patient care management staff. The ED Manager will also assist in managing the resources of the unit including staff, budget, equipment, and supplies.

The RN Manager Emergency will join a team of specially trained and respected doctors, nurses and support staff to provide a wide range of services and keep the Emergency Department running smoothly. In addition to overseeing the daily operations of the department, The RN Emergency Department Manager will help create a superior clinical identity by monitoring the level of patient, staff, and physician satisfaction.
