*Job Summary*

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team for our Clinical Research Site. The ideal candidate will be preparing and dispensing medications to patients, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical services.

*Responsibilities*

- Prepare medications by counting, pouring, labeling, and packaging pharmaceuticals

- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies

- Assist patients by answering questions

- Process prescriptions accurately and timely

- Comply with all security measures and quality standards in the pharmacy

*Requirements*

- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations

- Experience in a medical setting

- Familiarity with aseptic technique and medication administration

- Excellent patient care and customer service skills

- Experience with fume hood

- Knowledge and/or experience of clinical research and what the role entails

- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus
