Cloud Systems Architect is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Architect develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Architect monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cloud Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Architect role located in Ocean Springs, MS. The Architect will be responsible for architectural design, project management, and production of construction documents. Day-to-day tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Produces conceptual plans, renderings, and estimates.
- Plans and programs layout of project(s); coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.
- Utilize computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
- Produces construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Working with the Project Manager, direct, supervise, and check activities of team members engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase through Construction Documents.
- Works in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.
- Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an Accredited Institution
- 3 years minimum of architectural experience preferably within the hiring firm’s field
- Architectural Design, Production and Project Management skills
- Strong understanding of Construction Detailing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office suite is required
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work under indirect supervision
- Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability
- Understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements
