Cloud Systems Architect is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Architect develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Architect monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cloud Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8 years experience in cloud, applications, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud technology domain
3 years managing multiple projects or portfolios.
2 year(s) experience providing technical leadership for a blended, multidisciplinary teams.
6 years of Power Platform implementation experience or other related software implementation experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power BI, Power Pages, Canvas Apps, and Model-Driven Apps experience a Must.
6 years of Azure, SharePoint/OneDrive and related technologies experience
6 years experience with cloud and hybrid/on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
Experience writing or contributing to design documentation, leveraging Azure DevOps, and experience designing wireframes for custom apps.
Experience implementing end-to-end projects involving integrations, reporting, and/or Power Platform components.

Responsibilities
LOB and Citizen Developer Support
Work directly with business stake holders and citizen developers to help drive technical requirements with Microsoft Business Applications / Power Platform and Modern Work M365 Workshop Materials.
Develop technical solutions and design, customize, or reapply technical solutions based on LOB/Stakeholder/Citizen develop needs or demands.
Intellectual Property and Practice Development
Generate new and/or improvements to existing intellectual property.
Creates new intellectual property based on requirements from our stakeholders and LOBs.
Drives the re-use of intellectual property and recommends practices in both solutioning and delivery.
Trusted Advisor
Develop a network of internal/external relationships to build influence in addressing problems/blockers and facilitating additional views on the matter of interest.
Understand solutions and identify how business value can be driven through Microsoft's offerings.
Thought Leadership
Share ideas, insight, and technical input with technical teams, internal communities across the field, and the larger virtual team using a knowledge of specific Microsoft products and their context in the landscape.
Participate in external architect community events (e.g., conferences, seminars, technical meetups, Webcasts, blogs, hackathons) and shares learnings with internal team.
