CNC Machinist
The Role
o Run numerically controlled Saws and Mills in a production enviornment.
o Providing adequate feedback in relation to program functionality as well as efficiency in an effort to eliminate down time and increase quality
o Performing in-process inspection of machined parts utilizing drawing/ blue prints with the aid of standard precision measurement devices.
o Performing hand edits when necessary.
o Record information on work orders/ Travelers in order to maintain required traceability.
o Standardize and help develop departmental procedures and processes in relation to continuous improvement.
The Requirements
o Must be proficient in G&M codes
o Experience reading Drawings, Blue-prints, and interrupting supplemental customer documents.
o Applied understanding of GD&T
o Have basic skills in relation to calculating appropriate feeds and speeds
o Work well in a team environment
o Established knowledge of precision instruments as well as their usage
