Requirements - basic industrial math, ability to read and interpret blueprints, knowledge to effectively utilize precision measuring devices, ability to follow written instructions, effective verbal communication skills, basic computer knowledge. A team player, excellent interpersonal skills, and be motivated to work in a participative environment. Problem solving skills and a willingness to adapt to a changing environment of prerequisites of successful candidates. Starting rate is $25.85 progressing up to $26.85.
Duties included:
• Read routing sheets and follow instructions given.
• Read complex sketches and blueprints along with the ability to set up the machine by utilizing tooling and fixtures.
• Set and adjust speeds and feeds and ability to make necessary modifications to CNC Programs.
• The ability to proof out program and test piece to ensure that the product specifications are met.
• Monitor tool wear in order to make adjustments and/or replace tooling in order to manufacture the most efficient manner according to product specification.
• Strive for effective utilization of material provided for customer products.
• Report required production information using forms, computers, terminals and/or other input devices.
• Ensure CNC Library of programs and drawing files are maintained after utilizing them
Other Duties:
• Pre-package and/or palletize material at workstation as instructed or specified in Packaging MN's.
• Use Material Handling equipment assigned to the area.
• Keep machines clean and oiled.
• Initiate needed program information to new or existing CNC programs.
• AS9100 and ISO 9000 record keeping.
