ONLINE THERAPY - CLINICAL PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Compensation: Fee for Service

● $55-65 - Insured Clients ($65 for No-Shows/Late Cancels for on-going sessions) - depending on number of availabilities (<10 per week $55, >10 $65)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Non-Ordinary Therapy Company ("The Non-Ordinary Therapy Company" or the “Company”), is taking a non-ordinary approach to traditional therapy.

Founded by a team that built Field Trip Health Ltd, a world-leader in psychedelic-assisted therapies, our approach blends the best of a variety of therapeutic techniques blended with the evidence-backed power of non-ordinary states of consciousness, to help ordinary people achieve extraordinary mental health outcomes.

We provide a new level of care, not only for anyone seeking therapeutic support to heal their mind, body, and spirit, but also those looking to integrate insights and learnings from ketamine infusions or other psychedelic experiences.

Our services are accepted by major insurance providers and provide clients with a seamless, affordable experience using virtual practice software.

Each session is 53 minutes long, based on talk therapy and supported by holistic wellness practices including breathwork, somatic release, visualization, meditation, and other practices.

Every clinician providing therapy through the program will have completed a proprietary psychotherapy training program developed by The Non-Ordinary Therapy Co. that leverages knowledge and learnings derived from the founding team’s network of psychedelic-assisted therapy clinics. Therapists will become experts in psychedelic integration and other Non-Ordinary states of consciousness through regular, paid training and professional development.

Each therapist will set their own availability. The Non-Ordinary Therapy Co. will manage all billing, therapist payments, clinical direction/supervision if needed and client recruitment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to clients as appropriate; Prepares treatment plans, and discharge plans
• Collects data about patients through interview, case history, and/or observational techniques; Evaluates data to identify causes of problems and to determine proper therapeutic approach or referral to other specialists
• Submits client documentation within 24hrs of providing service
• Attends and completes all mandatory trainings

Minimum Job Requirements

● LCSW designation or equivalent directly related field

● Ability to be credentialed on insurance panels

● Malpractice insurance

● Ability to work at least 10 (53 minute) sessions a week (caseload)

● Strong understanding of digital EHR platforms.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

● Ability to apply mental health counseling methods and techniques.

● Knowledge and understanding of clinical counseling principles, programs, and methodology.

● Knowledge and understanding of clinical social work and mental health counseling principles, methods, procedures, and standards.

● Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to patients' rights.

● A strong belief in a holistic approach to mental health that may include using non-traditional practices to support each client; including the use or support of Non-Ordinary states of consciousness (psychedelics, dreamwork, meditation, hypnosis, breathwork, and others)

● A strong technological ability regarding telehealth.

Training & Development

• We have a strong belief in supporting our clinicians with the support and training to create the most effective outcomes.
• Training & Development starts at 5 hours a week a increases at 10 and 20 hours for therapists who have been with us a minimum of 3 months.
• Training is valued up to $4000-$6000 a year and may include:
• Foundational courses in Optimizing Neuroplasticity (Non-ordinary states Supplementation) and Psychedelic Preparation Integration given by Dr. Mike Dow.
• Online Courses (certified programs with CE) for Integration in Ketamine/non-ordinary states, Internal Family Systems Master Class, Compassionate Inquiry for Trauma, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, A Hypnosis, Mind/Body & Neuroscience Approach to Effectively
• Master Classes with Dr. Mike Dow on essential concepts in Non-Ordinary Therapies.
