Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Operator utilizes a sprayer to apply paint to a variety of products. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Operator may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Operator relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Our Garden Segment is searching for Packaging and Coating Machine Operators in our Roll, AZ location. This position monitors machines that prepare grass seed for packaging and distribution.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
Operate Coating or Packaging Machine
- Placing product in machine and monitoring the coating once process is complete changing the to the packaging machine
- Packaging product to customer specifications
- Placing packaged product on to pallets
- Using a forklift, stack finished material and place in holding area
- General housekeeping of the work area by using the blower and clearing debris
- Must be able to have an acceptable lines per hour capability with minimum errors
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a non- climate controlled environment with temperature ranges from 115º to 40º Fahrenheit.
- Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time.
- Seasonal Overtime required
