POSITION SUMMARY

Job Title: Color Coin Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Color Coin Technician to join our team. The Color Coin Technician will be responsible for applying color finishes to coins, ensuring accuracy, vibrancy, and consistency in the final product. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for color, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in graphic design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator.

Responsibilities:

Safety Advocate: Promote Safety as the Number One Priority among all Scottsdale Mint employees.
Coin Machine Operation: Set up color cliches, observe operations, and inspect work products to ensure machining conforms to specifications.

Select and adjust press controls and tooling based on the production run sheet, including speeds and feed rates.

Team Collaboration:Assist other Stamping Operators in setting up machines and collaborate in stacking, marking, packing, and transporting finished workpieces.
Workspace Management:Maintain a neat and well-organized work area for efficient operations.
Adherence to Safety Rules:Observe and adhere to all safety rules, ensuring a secure work environment.

Flexibility and Adaptability:Undertake additional duties as directed by the Shift Supervisor or Group Leader, contributing to the overall efficiency of the manufacturing process.

Requirements:

Education:High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: .

Technical Skills: Extremely proficient in color distinguishing.

Communication:Ability to interpret safety instructions, job orders, quality specifications, and other related documents. Good written and verbal communication skills.

Analytical Skills:Strong math and mechanical reasoning skills.

Team Collaboration:Ability to contribute effectively as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, using hands to finger, handling or feeling objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing.

Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Good close vision and depth perception skills.

Personal Attributes: Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills.
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

Great to Have: Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, or similar software.
