Falcon National Bank is an expanding Community Bank dedicated to delivering inventive solutions and personalized customer service. We seek a meticulous and forward-thinking Collateral Support Specialist to become a valuable part of our Equipment Finance Department.

The perfect candidate will have a pivotal role in maintaining the precision and effectiveness of our collateral management procedures, encompassing both the Equipment Finance Department and the overall Bank. As a Collateral Support Specialist, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of collateral management for our Equipment Finance leases and bank loans.

Key responsibilities:

• Review titles prior to documents being prepared and report/note file
• Review titles prior to funding and report/note file
• Work with customers and dealers on all questions that are title-related
• Work with all 50 state Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to solve title issues
• Receive and process titles on booked transactions to secure lien
• Communicate with brokers, dealers, private parties, and end-user customers on the title proceedings
• Communicate with internal team members bank-wide
• Research Title history, verify assignments and the chain of a vehicle sale
• Title follow-up with Customer/Dealers/DMV
• Scanning and Filing
• Apply for repo titles as instructed
• Sign off on and process titles on disposed contracts
• Conduct and review UCC searches as required
• UCC-1 filings
• Support for the inspections department

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Strong knowledge of title laws, regulations, and processes, preferred.
• General computer skills working with various software systems, required.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
