Role Summary
Rivian is seeking a detail-oriented Credit and Collections Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting the credit and collections processes, conducting credit assessments, monitoring receivables, and assisting in the collection of outstanding accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct credit assessments and reviews for new and existing customers to determine creditworthiness.
- Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
- Communicate with customers (B2B & B2C) regarding outstanding balances, payment arrangements, and resolving any billing discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of credit and collections activities.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address credit and collections issues and improve the customer experience.
- Analyze credit data and financial statements to identify potential risks and make recommendations for credit limits.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on credit and collections activities for senior management.
- Support the Credit and Collections Manager in resolving escalated collections cases.
- Continuously review and improve credit and collections processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit and collections, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and credit reports.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
