The Regional Coordinator supports the K-12 Partnerships Team in executing a regional strategy related to college readiness and other college credit options for K-12 students. The Coordinator is directly responsible for management of all aspects of a critically important geographic region within the CCP/ K-12 enterprise. This role includes other College department collaborations, such as working with Admissions and other teams that engage in recruitment from K-12. This role will serve as a primary point of contact for assigned partner K-12 school districts. The Regional Coordinator will be a vital team member to ensure that there is awareness across departments of the key strategies for a particular region or district.
In this role, Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance is required.
College Credit Plus and K-12 Planning
Prepares materials to support registration and enrollment in college credit options. Answers student, family, and stakeholder questions about registration.
Participates in regional planning conversations and develops an outline of all higher education-related initiatives for the district.
Handles correspondence, academic planning, and advising details for a specific region or district partnership.
Plans and manages reports about innovative programs and student success.
Student Advising and Support
Provides advising support regarding matters related to assigned functional areas.
Explains the applicable paperwork, processes, and procedures to students and school counselors.
Share resources available for students relating to individual needs.
Provides information on programs of study and next steps for enrollment, including admission criteria, documents needed, financial aid, new student orientation, placement testing, advising, course selection, and registration.
Facilitates presentations to students, industry partners, and community partners when needed.
Provides information on College Credit Plus to school districts and parents/families in the form of presentations (CCP Info Nights) and during other meetings at school partner and college locations as needed.
Assists special student populations appropriately.
Advises students in person, via phone, e-mail or other delivery formats as needed.
Building Partnerships
Works collaboratively and in person with district partners to increase opportunities for students.
Serves as a liaison to internal teams regarding district strategic plans.
Communicates across departments about district needs and priority areas.
Communicate with local high school counselors and district employees to share news from CSCC.
Maintains excellent customer service by providing timely responses in person, over the phone, and electronically.
Works with others in a leadership capacity on strategic planning and goal setting.
Fiscal & Administrative
Processes registration forms as needed. Keeps accurate status reports of district-wide initiatives.
Ensures compliance of state regulations as well as institutional policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of student records and other confidential information.

Fosters and maintains a safe environment of respect and inclusion for faculty, staff, students, and members of the community.
OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages multiple initiatives in person related to district partnerships for K-12 students. Must meet and understand state regulations in relationship to CCP.
Assignments of varying complexity related to district strategy.
Assists with other CCP advising duties as required, including but not limited to registering students.
Other duties as required.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, Administration, Counseling, or a related field.
Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in student advising and support or related field.
Preferable Education: Master’s Degree and Counseling or advising experience
State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).
