Commercial Construction Superintendent jobs in Alamance, NC

The Superintendent oversees the operation of projects from pre-construction to post-construction in the electrical, HVAC and plumbing fields for one of our clients. The duties may vary depending on the project scope. This individual will also be expected to ensure the safety and compliance of the project site. This person must drive multiple projects simultaneously to completion with the highest quality of work, on schedule and within the project budget.

• Proficient knowledge of the NEC code with the ability to interpret
• Ensure electrical installations are in accordance with NEC codes, specs, and regulations
• Mitigate risk by ensuring safety protocols are adhered to
• Ensure compliance of quality assurance and quality control of work in place
• Translate and interpret project plans and specifications to actual installation
• Plan and coordinate site execution with other trades within the project
• Conduct project pre-plan activities
• Attend project coordination meetings with the ability to detect and resolve conflicts amongst various scopes of work between trades
• Work with the project team to ensure that all electrical systems are installed on-time and on-budget
• Proficient in construction management software
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or drawings and specifications
• Supervise, develop, and evaluate direct reports
• Perform other duties as assigned  

• 7-10 years of electrical and plumbing field experience with a concentration in commercial installation
• Experience managing 3 or more projects simultaneously valued at $600k each
• Preferred experience in WWTP industry
• Industry certifications and/or licenses 
• OSHA 30 certification
• Valid Driver License
