Commercial Credit Analyst collects, reviews, and analyzes data to prepare a detailed credit analysis that evaluates the terms and creditworthiness of commercial loan applications. Uses multiple sources of information, including financial statements, collateral appraisals, credit scores, and cash flow analysis, to assign risk ratings to loans and complete an analysis of the applicant's financial status. Being a Commercial Credit Analyst calculates debt-to-income (DTI) ratios to evaluate an applicant's ability to repay the loan. Prepares credit memos in a standardized format that includes key ratios, supporting information, an executive summary, and objective recommendations. Additionally, Commercial Credit Analyst presents credit reports to loan officers and loan committees. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Commercial Credit Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Financial Analyst 9-P11
    The Fiscal Analyst will serve as a Financial Monitor for Housing and Homeless Services. This position is responsible for providing financial oversight and monitoring of contracts administered by the Unit. This position reports to the Contracts and Grants Manager as part of the Housing and Homeless Services’ administrative team and will work collaboratively within the Unit and with other internal agency partners to ensure budget and financial reporting requirements are completed accurately and timely. This position will also assist with annual financial monitoring of providers to ensure reimbursed expenditures are in compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines, and policy

    Financial Analyst 12
    This position is the recognized resource in the Housing and Homeless Services Division for the coordination, preparation, compilation, research, analysis and monitoring of the Division's $45 million dollar budget. This position is responsible for developing summary level and detailed budget documents, expenditure documents by grant and sub-recipient; budget monitoring documents and provide guidance on grant spending for projects; This position will forecast expenditures by month by sub-recipient to ensure the Division can communicate proactively with sub-recipients to ensure that federal and state funding is fully and appropriately expended. This position will work closely with the Division manager, contracts analyst, and staff responsible for processing monthly billings to provide a holistic view of the financial health of the Division. This position will be the lead for any updates, submission, training, or coordination with SIGMA and will be responsible for pulling data from SIGMA, Business Objects/ Intelligence, and any other state systems necessary to gather state financial data.

    Required Education and Experience

    Education

    Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major with at least 24 semester (36 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: accounting, finance, or economics.

    Financial Analyst 9
    No specific type or amount is required.

    Financial Analyst 10
    One year of professional experience providing a systematic review, analysis, interpretation, and/or evaluation of budgets, mortgages, loans, or other financial data, equivalent to a Financial Analyst 9, Accountant 9, or Auditor 9.

    Financial Analyst P11
    Two years of professional experience providing a systematic review, analysis, interpretation, and/or evaluation of budgets, mortgages, loans, or other financial data, equivalent to a Financial Analyst, including one year equivalent to a Financial Analyst 10, Accountant 10, or Auditor 10.

    Financial Analyst 12
    Three years of professional experience providing a systematic review, analysis, interpretation, and/or evaluation of budgets, mortgages, loans, or other financial data, equivalent to a Financial Analyst, including one year equivalent to a Financial Analyst P11, Accountant P11, or Auditor P11.
