This hourly (non-exempt) internship will serve as the entry level position within the Commercial Loan Department and is designed to provide an overview on First American Bank’s Commercial Lending and Treasury Management Departments.  In addition, interns will have the opportunity to shadow the Bank’s Senior Lenders to gain a better understanding of the Bank and how it functions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the Commercial Lending and Operations teams on various projects.
• Organize and archive customer information within the Bank’s CreditQuest system, using Excel and other bank systems.
• Assist with other operational tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school degree or equivalent. 
• Ideally suited for individuals entering their senior year of college pursuing a degree in finance, accounting or economics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be extremely detail orientated, accurate, well organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks with competing priorities.
• Strong working knowledge of various computer applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Maximum of 25 hours per week between the hours of 7:30AM - 4:00PM Monday through Friday.
