COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANGER
The Commercial Account Manager will contribute to the overall sales productivity and effectiveness of designated territory. A Commercial Account Manager is responsible for maintaining customer profiles and information, conducting routine follow-ups, and delivering timely responses to customer requests or needs. They must be capable of communicating with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth is achieved while increasing their selling capability.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Set and achieve targeted and agreed-upon sales goals (volume and gross margins) to attain new and repeat clients in ways that are aligned with departmental objectives.
- Actively seek, identify and obtain new prospects and increased opportunity with existing prospects in ways that lead to increased sales.
- Effectively follow successful sales processes that ensures the account has an excellent buying experience, including the timely completion of all paperwork and after sales follow-up activities.
- Set and monitor progress toward agreed-upon sales goals and manage/prioritize work to achieve progress toward yearly, monthly, weekly and daily sales goals against key performance indicators.
- Actively seek, identify and obtain new prospects in ways that lead to increased sales.
- Build and maintain positive account relationships to strengthen loyalty, partnership, and company reputation.
- Successfully partner with and consult strategic accounts in a way that leads to sustainable repeat business, including in process, current, future, and past clients.
- Proactively support and work with other employees, departments and/or locations to give the account a seamless experience in ways that promote teamwork and increase overall customer support and partnership satisfaction.
- Continually improve personal selling capabilities in order to respond to customer needs in a more effective manner.
- Continually learn and apply new selling skills, strategies and techniques on a daily, monthly and yearly basis.
- Develop and maintain a high level of product, market and industry knowledge.
- Utilize Bane- Welker programs and promotions effectively to deepen customer relationships.
Requirements of Position:
- Proven ability to maintain customer relationships and cultivate new customers for future growth.

- Travel required, must have a valid driver’s license.

- Work is performed in an office, maintenance shop and outdoor environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system. May be subject to sitting, standing, climbing, lifting, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, speaking, listening and motor coordination.
