Position Summary:
The Key Account Manager is responsible for the execution of work and the client relationships for accounts assigned to them. This includes staffing, budgeting, work planning, work oversight, inspections, and client communications. In addition, this position requires in depth janitorial services and equipment knowledge to ensure service compliance and that team members are properly trained and work within CCC standards.
Authorities and Limitations:
- Hands on management and oversight of all day-to-day operations including staffing, scheduling, budgets, account changes, client visitations, staff retention and QA.
Educational, Experiential and Skill Requirements:
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years progressive management experience in janitorial operations or a related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively with site team, management and clients regarding operations, and client matters.

Language Skills Required:
- Possess proficient command of the English language, verbally, through reading and with the written word.
- Possess the ability to read, write and speak a foreign language such as Spanish is desired, but not required.
Licenses, Certifications, Registrations Required:
- Position is subject to a pre-hiring drug test as with all new Company employees.
- Be able to pass a State Background Check.

Work Environment Conditions:
- No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions. Mixture of days, nights and weekends are required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plays key role in the company by exhibiting knowledge in the industry, managing teams and critical issues, and developing customer relationships
Managerial Duties:
- Delegates work appropriately and follows through to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded.
- Identify training areas of need and coordinate and monitor same for team staff.
- On occasion may need to cover staff responsibilities when needed due to absenteeism, work volume or special projects/requests.
- Provides valuable views and feedback in Operations Meetings
- Demonstrates competence in leadership, management of employees and conflict resolution, recruitment of well-qualified candidates for the job.
- Gives feedback to employees for continuous improvement of work products and services
- Responds to concerns and handles them professionally and in alignment with company policies
- Accomplishes work with high degree of accuracy and timeliness
- Hold employees accountable for their actions and document instances of improper behavior or substandard performance; make discipline and/or termination recommendations to Management if warranted.
- Plans, organizes and analyzes work assignments for optimum results
- Reports all incidents affecting or potentially impacting HSE, Critical Environments, and Property Damage.
- Ensures employees are fully trained and follow all safety policies. Shares safety best practice with colleagues. Makes certain appropriate PPE is used at all times when required.
- Identifies learning opportunities to improve personal knowledge of business
- Enforces employee time keeping compliance-95%. Manages punches effectively through proper scheduling and staffing analysis.
- Manages customer complaints
- Measures business decisions with customer and company satisfaction in mind
- Gives feedback to employees for continuous improvement of work products and services
- Understands the business, its needs, its customer and has a thorough knowledge of the industry
- Manages own time well, meets customer commitments, meets management’s deadlines
- Develops goals and alternatives for accomplishing tasks
- Exceeds customer expectations
- Performs area inspections and documents results on the Area Scorecards as requested
- Takes positive actions to enhance relationship with end customers, leading to positive recommendations for additional scope and cost savings for our clients.
- Emphasize a culture that stresses the importance of safety, compliance, and customer service.
- Looks for ways to improve processes and implement changes
- Develops and implements plans for efficiently using materials, machines, and effective cleaning processes.
- Keeps the VP of Operations and other team members informed regarding customer concerns and needs and promptly addresses all issues.
- Preparation and timely submission of daily, weekly, and monthly reports as management requires.
- Responsible for making minor repairs and adjustments to equipment and submitting a service order for major repairs if needed.
- Manages Front Line Employees to include payroll/timekeeping.
- Conducts one-on-one training as needed
- Supplement site inspections & follow-up plans
Relationships
- Manage relationships with client.
- Support positive relationships with colleagues and office/support teams

This full-time position includes a competitive salary commensurate with experience, , 401K company match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO.
Hours: afternoons/evenings and weekends as needed.
