Store Manager needed for Tire and Service Center in the Boston / Allston, MA area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced automotive Service Manager or Store Manager looking for a long-term position with a company that loves to promote from within. This family owned auto repair and tire company offers a 5 day work week and phenomenal employee benefits package. 6 days of PTO and 2 weeks vacation the first year! The successful candidate is a positive and proactive leader who is great at working with customers and motivating their employees. Likewise, it is important that the Store Manager knows how to properly dispatch work to the right technicians to ensure shop flow and efficiency. The Store Manager will oversee a high-volume operation and about 20-25 employees in a busy metro market. The Store is in good condition with further room for growth and needs a great manager who can really lead the team to the next level. The Store Manager is expected to be a "working" manager, actively working with customers on estimates / repairs, working the POS, etc. It is imperative that the Store Manager hired is approachable and maintains a positive attitude while working with retail clients coming into the store. The Store Manager / Service Manager will be responsible to meet a realistic budget and the store has a consistent history of very high volume revenues. The Store Manager person will have support from Regional Management to achieve their goals and properly staff their store. It is important that the person hired doesn't turn away work and says "yes" to customers who come in looking to service their vehicles as every job counts and gives the store opportunity for future repeat business. Must be ethical and someone who does right by the company as this family owned automotive repair chain that truly cares about their positive reputation and being a positive member of the community. Definite room for upward growth within the company. Must have a strong understanding of automotive repair, retail sales, and be comfortable working with mechanics and dispatching work.
