Commercial Tire Store Manager plans and directs the day-to-day operations of a commercial tire store/center. Develops strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. Being a Commercial Tire Store Manager ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. Hires and manages store personnel. Additionally, Commercial Tire Store Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Commercial Tire Store Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Commercial Tire Store Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Functions:
- Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
- Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
- Ability to move, lift 75 pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
