EXPERIENCED COMMERCIAL TIRETECHNICIAN WANTED

Parrish Tire has a full time opening for an experienced tire techniciana. Job duties will include changing passenger, light and medium truck tires for customer vehicles.

Position Summary: A Commercial Tire Technician is responsible for the dismounting, mounting and balancing of commercial tires both in the shop and on the road. General Job functions include adequately securing the vehicle prior to dismounting the tires and wheels and then reattaching all tires and wheels to ensure proper safe operation of the vehicle. Other duties include handling scrap and many miscellaneous duties that you will be directed to perform.

Essential Job Functions:

• Properly secure vehicle to lift to ensure safe operation.
• Dismount and remount tires and wheels securely on vehicle
• Dismount and remount tires onto wheels
• Operate all related equipment and tools as trained.
• Work independently or as a team.
• Ensure you provide the highest quality customer service.
• Work safely and report any injury immediately to Management/HR.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Education:

• High School Diploma preferred but not required.
• Experience working on Commercial Fleet Accounts
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Ability to work on a team and independent.
• Legible Handwriting
• Valid Driver’s License

Physical & Time Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assist and additional heavy lifting.
• Ability to bend, twist, lift, and move quickly.
• Report to work on time for all scheduled shifts; Return form meals and breaks on time.
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Perform repeated and repetitive movement consistent within the tire industry.
• Learn and maintain lifting procedures
• Learn and maintain all general housekeeping and ensure daily performance.
• Pass Background check
• Pass DOT Physical
• Pass Pre-Employment Drug Testing
• Dependable, reliable and on time
