Commercial Tire Technician jobs in Port Saint Lucie, FL
Commercial Tire Technician performs tire and tire related services at commercial service centers according to company requirements. Mounts, demounts and balances commercial and other tires and wheels as directed by a service manager or a more senior technician. Being a Commercial Tire Technician follows established procedures to inspect tires, wheels and vehicles before and after service, noting additional needs and notifying the service manager or supervising technician. May be responsible for replenishing inventory and maintaining shop supply levels. Additionally, Commercial Tire Technician may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Commercial Tire Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

SLBT Safe Fleet is looking for a motivated and experienced Commercial Truck Tire Service Technician to add to our growing service department. The candidate must demonstrate attention to detail and dedication to provide the highest level of quality work.Primary Responsibilities:
- Accurately diagnose and perform required repairs with proper documentation of all work performed
- Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form for each vehicle
- Perform all levels of preventive and routine maintenance services
- Ability to Quality Check work after repairs to ensure vehicle is fixed correctly
- Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promise time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year experience as a Truck Tire Service Technician (Preferred)
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Driver's License
- US work authorization
