Tower Hand/ Tower Technician position available.

Prior Tower experience is preferred but not required and wage is competitive.

Responsibilities Include
- Ability to climb and work on multiple types of structures at heights 10’ - 300’
- Basic use of hand tools and equipment
- Perform installation of antennas, dishes, mounts, cable ladders, cables, connectors, etc.
- Assist in bile shooting a variety of electronic components for cell and microwave sites to lighting systems
- Maintain a professional working attitude with customers and co-workers
- Recognize safety hazards and perform all duties in a safe manner
- Participate in new tower construction
- Uphold quality workmanship surpassing industry standard
- Continue industry education and knowledge

Personal Attributes
- Must show up on time every work day and ready to work.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop location
- Must be willing to travel and be able to work with a non structured schedule. I.e., long hours and occasional weekend, etc.
- Team oriented
- Self-Motivated and able to learn efficiently

Work Environment
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, sit, climb ladders, communication towers and work in elevated position that is /- 300’.
- On regular basis team member must lift, carry, and maneuver sometimes heavy or awkward objects
- Frequent work in adverse weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Daily travel within the company’s geographical footprint and extended stays at external destinations. Travel time can be anywhere from 2 to 6 days at a time.
- Frequently required to use hand tools

Required Knowledge/Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined
- Electrical education is a plus
- Must NOT have a fear of heights
- General tower and fall protection safety knowledge and ability to utilize 100% tie off techniques at all times is a plus
- Basic rigging is a plus
- Must have knowledge on use and care of basic hand tools and power tools
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be at least 18 years old

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
