SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator will drive our mission by working with employees across the business to ensure FCC is a great place to work for all. This role is both hands-on and strategic and provides expertise in assigned areas of benefits, talent acquisition, safety, employee relations & development, and other projects as necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Works in partnership to develop the benefit design, implementation, communication and cost control of benefit programs for over 800 employees.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of existing benefit programs, policies, and guidelines, ensuring they are market competitive, cost effective, aligned with culture and in compliance with all requirements.
- Develops and implements programs to support the safety and well-being of employees including managing all work related injury claims.
- Manage all company leave programs and FMLA, interpret FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.
- Create a supportive environment and communication process where employees feel comfortable sharing ideas and issues.
- Formulate partnerships with management and advise employees and supervisors about company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures, etc.
- Engage with employees to understand the overall pulse of the organization and identify opportunities to create a culture of increased employee engagement.
- Investigate and resolve employee concerns.
QUALIFICATIONS
- To be successful in this position, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The level of proficiency required for this position is typically acquired through 3-5 years of experience and/or education in an HR related area of study.
- Deep knowledge of benefit programs, leave management, safety and employee relations.
- Ability to travel on occasion.
