Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Communications to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to enhance the organization's brand and reputation.

Duties:

- Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to reach target audiences
- Oversee all aspects of internal and external communications
- Manage media relations, including writing press releases and coordinating interviews
- Create engaging content for various platforms, including social media, website, and newsletters
- Conduct market research to stay current on industry trends and competitor activities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure messaging aligns with organizational goals

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree with five plus years of experience in communications management. APR certification a plus.
- Proven experience in a communications role, with a focus on media relations, public speaking, social media management, and a demonstrated ability to secure press coverage.
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills
- Ability to craft messages that resonate with diverse audiences
- Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $84,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
