Regan Communications Group is looking to add a full-time Account Coordinator to a dynamic public relations team that services clients spanning the consumer, retail, entertainment, hospitality, construction, banking and nonprofit industries from its Providence, RI office. The ideal candidate has a minimum of one year of public relations experience, preferably in an agency setting.
The Account Coordinator will work in a small team environment but might also be required to assist clients in other offices on the East Coast. The position requires contact with some of New England’s top brands, developing and pitching storylines, monitoring local and national media, drafting social media content and assisting in planning media-relations campaigns and events.
The position requires:
● A minimum of one year of agency experience or experience in a communications-based environment
● A service-minded, positive and proactive approach to the work
● Strong follow-through (ability to manage multiple projects and clients)
● Ability to successfully work with a diverse client base, and pivot based on ever-evolving priorities
● A proven track record of secured media placements
● Excellent oral, written and verbal skills
● Familiarity with the Rhode Island / New England media markets
● Must be a team player, creative, multi-tasker and highly motivated
