Community Engagement Specialist jobs in Vulcan, MI

Great Lakes Recovery Centers is currently looking to fill a Full Time, Peer Recovery Coach-Engagement Specialist position. Duties include carrying a peer caseload, working with the Opioid Health Home program, and doing community outreach working out of our Marquette Outpatient Clinic. Must be dependable, motivated, and able to work independently, with empathy, listening skills, strong communication skills, basic computer and software literacy. A self-starter with little need for direct supervision & possess the ability to maintain a friendly and professional attitude.

Requirements:

• Be at least 18 yrs. old;
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Have two (2) continuous years in recovery from addiction(s) with experience in navigating treatment and/or prevention services;
• Be willing to successfully complete the MDHHS Peer Recovery Coach training and Certification.
