Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Compensation Analyst in the medical device industry. As a Compensation Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in administering stock plans, delivering compensation consulting, and providing operational support for our business areas. You will also collaborate with various teams, including HR, Legal, Payroll, Tax, and Finance, to ensure compliance and timely communication of our programs.
Responsibilities
- Administer equity-based programs, including processing grants, exercises, vesting, and maintaining ongoing account and plan-related reporting
- Conduct comprehensive job evaluations and market analysis, support administration of compensation programs, and address compensation-related inquiries within assigned business areas
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to compile data for annual proxy drafts and ensure accuracy
- Support SOX compliance and audits for assigned accounting controls and processes, providing necessary documentation for auditors
- Coordinate the preparation of materials for Compensation & Human Capital Committee meetings
- Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring data accuracy and resolving any discrepancies
- Participate in market surveys and prepare benchmarking data for long-term incentive/equity-based compensation and executive compensation
- Develop and evaluate processes to streamline workflow, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company compensation plan provisions
- Handle the Compensation inbox, responding to inquiries in a timely manner
- Support equity tax reconciliation process in partnership with Payroll, Tax/Finance teams, and vendors
- Maintain control tables and reporting of equity compensation programs using various systems
- Provide analytical support in various aspects of compensation and participate in HR and compensation projects as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Compensation Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proven expertise in using Workday and spreadsheet software for data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive compensation analysis.
- Experience in handling stock compensation is essential.
- Familiarity with executive compensation practices.
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of compensation practices and legislation in the scientific instrument manufacturing industry.
