U.S. Compliance is the industry leader in EHS compliance management and EHS consulting solutions, delivering OSHA/safety and environmental compliance expertise to industrial companies. We’ve partnered with manufacturing clients for over 30 years customizing our services to help them attain and sustain EHS compliance, acting as extensions of their existing team and resources while charging a monthly fee instead of project-based billing with hourly rates. U.S. Compliance is excited to be adding to our amazing team as we are growing exponentially and need your expertise!

    Job Responsibilities:

Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Client Advisors work closely with industrial facilities across North America to provide technical and regulatory support with safety (OSHA) and environmental compliance. As the point person for a client, advisors complete facility inspections, site assessments, create site-specific safety programs, conduct employee safety and environmental training, and lead safety committee meetings.

Do you enjoy travel? This is the role for you; our advisors service clients both locally (commuting) and out-of-region (traveling), with the average number of overnight stays being 6-8/month. Our excellent corporate team will assist in scheduling employees to earn and keep travel rewards and earn a daily food and beverage per diem and mileage reimbursement.

    Primary Functions:

    • Provide on-site visits to assigned clients
    • Compliance as a Service (CaaS) model, performing compliance audits, periodic training, and routine facility inspections to identify areas of concern
    • Prepare agendas and follow-up reports to client contacts before and after each visit
    • Develop, write, and edit OSHA-compliant programs providing up-to-date versions to clients utilizing our EHS Gateway platform
    • Direct safety committee and emergency response team (ERT) meetings
    • Perform industrial hygiene surveys and conduct respective testing (air/noise)
    • Manage daily activities and tasks through the company’s internal software (MS Dynamics/PSA)
    • Research additional regulations and apply them to industrial equipment and operations
    • Support the environmental team with gathering data to perform applicability assessments
    • Complete special projects as assigned including lockout (LO/TO) procedure development, Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs), and DOT/RCRA seminars

    Position Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in occupational, safety and health, safety management, risk control, or another related science discipline
    • Previous experience in the development and implementation of safety programs through school, internship, or previous employment
    • Working knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 and other OSHA/safety regulations
    • Interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong decision-making skills and ability to assert good judgment
    • Ability to work various hours and travel/commute away from home regularly
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Dynamics, Teams)
    • Spanish skills are highly valued

If you’re looking for a career “opportunity” and not a “job,” U.S. Compliance could be the place. Join our dedicated team and fulfill both your professional and personal goals while helping our clients care for their employees, protect our environment, and grow their businesses.

This full-time/salaried position includes competitive compensation, incentive income earned through our Success Sharing Program, a benefits package that includes health insurance, dental insurance, a Health Savings Account, 401K retirement plan with a company match, disability coverage, life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, volunteer time off, technology reimbursement, and much more.
