Compliance Coordinator - Home Care jobs in Waldorf, MD

We are seeking a Care Coordinator who can create and arrange activities for new and existing clients to use their skills and enhance their quality of life by providing a stimulating environment to meet their emotional, social, physical & intellectual needs whilst maintaining their independence and privacy. As well as to build and maintain good relationships with clients and caregivers, displaying good communication & listening skills, to ensure they are provided with an effective communication network and they are smoothly handled.

Responsibilities:

• Creates, organizes, and offers clients and caregivers stimulating programmed activities offering internal & external activity sessions
• Displays a caring, sensitive & approachable nature
• Displays compassion, patience & empathy in all tasks whilst being creative, organized & reliable in approach to work
• Provides full operational support for the Agency’s incoming client and caregiver calls. Support will include client follow up/feedback calls or caregiver calls for staffing or other related care needs
• Discusses the process of scheduling for caregivers, and billing and payment of services with new clients
• Responds to all caregiver cancellations and identifies a replacement for the specific case based on needs, skills, and availability. Covers a shift when unable to find a replacement.
• Responds immediately to any calls regarding concerns from clients or caregivers
• Documents and investigates all situations to resolve concerns/complaints as appropriate
• Communicates and collaborates with Clinical Team as needed
• Performs home assessment for new clients
• Performs supervisory visits, client start-ups, home visits etc.

Qualifications

• 2 years of CNA experience
• Experience as a care coordinator/care manager for seniors preferred
• Strong leadership skills
• Experience in caring for others
• Experience in a health and social care setting
• Proficient use of Google Drive/Sheets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including polite and effective telephone demeanor
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Strong customer service abilities to establish a rapport with office staff, caregivers, clients, contacts, and professionals to rectify problems, while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
• Associates Degree or higher preferred
• Experience with servicing seniors is a plus
• Prior 24 hour/on-call experience is highly desired
• Must have an active driver's license and drives her/himself to work
• Must be fully vaccinated (COVID-19)

Benefit Package

• Paid Time-Off (PTO): 40 hours (After 90 days of Employment)
• Sick Time Max: Max of 40 hours /year (per Maryland's Earned Sick Time and Safe Law)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• CNA: 2 years (Preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Required)
• Care Coordinator: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
