Summary
This position is responsible for determining and understanding compliance requirements requested and/or imposed by customers and regulatory bodies either directly or indirectly through third-party compliance organizations. As the leader for compliance at Medallion, this person will communicate with customers, suppliers, and third-party compliance organizations in order to coordinate and obtain compliance information needed to fulfill compliance requests which may include the following: REACH, RoHs, SCIP, IMDS, TSCA, CA Prop 65, Conflict Minerals, Buy America, Free Trade Agreements, etc. The successful candidate will be willing to research and learn the various compliance requirements and web-based tools associated with the above compliance elements and demonstrate abilities such as analytical reasoning, communication, relationship management, and computer skills.

Education/Experience
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend compliance regulations, requirements, and training materials. Must effectively and professionally present information to customers, suppliers, third-party organizations, and other Medallion employees.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including decimals, averages and percentages.
Reasoning Skills
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to keep track of multiple issues/actions and deal with problems involving several variables and considerations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a demonstrated competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook email. Also, an ability to learn and use external web-based systems for data entry and retrieval will be required.
