Job Overview:
This position is an integral part of a high performing team that relies upon successfully managing complex administrative and financial tasks. Working with a network of human services agencies, this position performs equal parts financial technical assistance, compliance validation, and team support, all for the purpose ensuring the delivery of high-quality, publicly funded behavioral health services in a five-county geographic area of the state of Florida.
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare correspondences and negotiate memoranda and contract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated execution of contracts.
- Develop proficiency in applying state and federal cost pool restrictions known as Other Cost Accumulators (OCA) to determine allowable expenses and activities.
- Supports internal primary points of contacts by scrutinizing the financial documents submitted annually by the network service providers to include annual operating budgets, agency capacity reports, and budget narratives.
- Manage individual workload to ensure the timely accomplishment of deadlines.
- Track and communicate the key issues and status over the annual contract life cycle.
- Participate in contract negotiations as the lead transcriber, assign follow-up activities, and track through completion. Resolve discrepancies related to contract documents and ensure data quality and reporting compliance.
- Actively shares lessons learned to facilitate knowledge sharing within team and larger organization.
- Participate in network service provider on-site and desk review contract validations as administrative lead
- Additional duties as requested.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- General background and knowledge in accounting procedures
- Excellent telephone receptionist skills with a thorough knowledge of telephone etiquette
- Ability to understand and apply statutes, Florida Administrative Code, and Department of Children & Families’ Managing Entity Guidance Documents
- Knowledge and abilities in proofreading materials for grammatical and spelling errors, and keyboard skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,809.55 - $52,759.89 per year
