Job Description: Compliance Coordinator
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Academy for Classical Education (ACE) is seeking the right individual to assume the role of Compliance Coordinator for a Classical Education K-12 Charter School.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Compliance Coordinator must be highly organized individual. They are responsible for ensuring that ACE is compliant with all Federal and State educational requirements; testing requirements, teacher certification and evaluation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a Master's degree in leadership from an accredited institution highly preferred or commensurate work experience
- Hold a valid GaPSC in Educational Leadership at the Tier I Level
- Successful leadership experience minimum 3 years
- Record of strong ability to communicate and develop positive relationships with colleagues, students and parents.
- Able to pass extensive background check.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overall Compliance:
- Ensure ESSA compliance with Federal and State regulation
- Assist with Special Education oversight, discipline, curriculum needs, and academic charter goal
- Data collection for FTE, Student Class, Student Record, assist with CPI, Office of Civil Rights data collections, CCRPI accountability
- Serve as Infinite Campus Super User
District/School Test Coordinator
- Organize, plan, and execute standardized and school-wide testing
- Manage various tests including College Board exams, Gifted Testing, ACCESS Testing for EL students, Milestones Testing, Benchmark Testing, Midterms, and Final Exams
- Ensure testing accommodations for students with special needs
Federal Programs
- Oversee federal programs such as S-CLIP, SIP, Equity Action Plan, Migratory Students, Foster Care, McKinney Vento, Parent Engagement, Cross-Functional Monitoring
- Collaborate with Finance Department for Federal Program Funding
Teacher Certification
- Supervise teacher certification needs; confirm in-field qualifications
- Assist teacher in certification and manage certification renewals
- Coordinate with Finance Department for CPI
- Notify parents of teachers not meeting HiQ status
Teacher Keys Effectiveness System
- Serve as Super User for TKES
- Perform required administrative tasks annually, including teacher orientation, training, observations and ongoing support
