Sales Operations Manager
This full-time, in person position, is responsible for managing a small sales admin team which supports the sales team and ensures the smooth process of sales operations within our organization. The main responsibilities include managing admin team, as well as, participating in managing customer data and records, processing purchase orders, coordinating with internal teams to fulfill customer requests, logistics scheduling, and detailed maintenance of customer database. Additionally, the role includes being the first point of contact when handling customer inquiries or concerns. The role is crucial in the overall sales efforts within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Otherwise, a high school diploma with 3-5 years of experience in a relative field.
· Experience: Previous experience in sales operations or a similar role is a must. This may include experience in sales support, data analysis, work in identifying trends and data-driven recommendations.
· Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities are essential for a Sales Operations Manager. This includes analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations.
· Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with the sales team, management, customers, and other stakeholders. The ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner is crucial.
· Technical Proficiency: Knowledge and ability to use sales software and CRM systems is important. Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and asset management software is a must.
· Attention to Detail: Sales operations involves managing large amounts of data and ensuring accuracy. Attention to detail is vital to maintain data integrity and produce accurate reports.
· Problem Solving Abilities: Sales Operations Managers should possess strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to sales processes, data discrepancies, or system inefficiencies.
· Teamwork: Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, service, finance and IT, is a big piece of the role.
· Adaptability: The sales landscape is dynamic, and processes may change frequently. Being adaptable and open to learning new tools and technologies is important for success in this role.
· People Skills: Manage a small local admin team (1-2 people) to work together collaboratively and efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree (provide verification) or equivalent: 3 years relevant work experience
· Possess a valid Driver’s License
· Must pass DMV, background check and drug screening
