Cuber Operator / Quality Control Inspector

Oberfields LLC is currently seeking an individual to work in Production at our Obetz, OH facility. This position is for the Day Shift. The Cuber Operator/Quality Control Inspector position will report directly to the Plant Manager.

Job Description:

·Monitor and operate the cuber, splitter, pallet buffer, cube conveyor, netting machine, top sheet machine, horizontal and vertical bander.

·Assure that the correct cubing pattern is being maintained and make adjustments when necessary.

·Perform the proper start-up and shut-down procedures on the cubing line equipment.

·Inspect product prior to entering the cuber and separate out culls and trash.

·Keep accurate counts of cubes, blocks, culls (seconds), and trash, and fill in on the daily cubing report.

·Assist in clean-up of the entire production area, including mixers.

·Maintain the material handler responsibilities when necessary.

· Keep Netting machine, top sheet dispenser and banding equipment stocked

and ready to produce.

·Be able to change which product is being cubed by changing which chamber to pull

product from.

·Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner.

·Monitor and operate the splitter and assist in making any adjustments.
