Overview

Diamond Computer Incorporated, an IT Service Provider and MSP is currently seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team. We service a wide variety of clients in the Delaware Valley including a number of Schools and Municipalities along with a wide range of Small Businesses and individual users.

Qualifications / Experience Required

• Minimum of 5 Years Professional Experience working in IT.
• A thorough understanding of, and experience with, Networking principles, design, implementation, management and troubleshooting.
• Professional experience diagnosing and repairing computer systems, peripherals and other IT equipment.
• Professional experience with, and understanding of, Windows Domain environments including Active Directory, Group Policies, DHCP, DNS, Security and Management.
• Experience with Managed Wireless Networks including design, implementation, management and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of, and experience with, Virtualization principles and applications including design, implementation, management and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of, and experience with, CyberSecurity principles and technology and the application of protection and remediation protocols and procedures.

Qualifications / Experience Preferred

• Professional experience with the Google Admin portal including Chromebook, User and Application provisioning and management.
• Experience working with State of Delaware systems and networks, especially in the K12 environment.

Performance Responsibilities

• Assist clients through remote, in-shop and on-site service as needed.
• Assemble, prep, configure and deploy new systems, peripherals and networking equipment.
• Monitor Managed Services platforms for issues or alerts and act on them accordingly.
• Diagnose, examine and correct problems with systems, infrastructure and connectivity for clients.

Additional Skills and Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a Federal Background Check and drug test.
• Must be able to maintain effective and thorough communications with fellow team members and clients.
• Must be able to comfortably lift 30 pounds.

Additional Position Information

Salary will be computed based on experience and education. Regular work hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, however there are cases where services will be required outside those hours. Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
