We are currently hiring for full-time Cashier for the Roundhouse Market, Monday through Friday day shifts. While we appreciate some experience, this is an entry level position, we are willing to train the right candidate!

The Cashier will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service while taking food orders, and accurately handling cash and credit card transactions for our guests. Our ideal candidate is polite, works quickly in a fast paced environment, and has a great attitude.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Greet and interact with guests according to our Service Standards
• Take guest orders and accurately enter into POS system
• Accurately process cash and/or credit card transactions to close the ticket and provide correct change (if required).
• Answer customers' questions and involve a manager if not able to resolve the issue.
• Accountable for the accurate reconciliation of the drawer at end of shift.
• Prepare the station for opening to ensure it is well stocked and clean.
• Stock paper goods for food service to ensure uninterrupted service for the day.
• Stock beverages in the cooler to ensure uninterrupted service for the day.
• May expedite guest orders occasionally.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent communication skill
• Attention to detail
• Ability to perform basic math

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven working experience in retail cashier or sales
• Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters etc)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
