Conference Services Houseperson

Cape Cod's only double Forbes Five-Star resort is looking for a houseperson for its conference services department. This role is responsible for the set up and break down of function rooms for meetings and catered events. It requires good communication skills and excellent attention to detail.

The conference services houseperson's responsibilities include:

• Setting and breaking down event space according to specifications stated on banquet event orders
• Ensuring that all space is immaculately maintained
• Ensuring all furniture, equipment and supplies are properly stored
• Assisting in servicing meeting rooms and catered events by removing trash, linens, tableware, glasses, and any requested service
• Greeting and accommodating guests in a warm and gracious manner

Previous hotel or banquet experience is preferred. Individual must be able to lift up to 40 pounds in order to move furniture for set up and breakdown of space.
